Our awards dinners give us the opportunity to celebrate business success by accepting nominations in categories such as Rising Star/New Business, Export Achievement, Club 25, Kevin Beaton Heart of the Community, the Jack Hartery Lifetime Achievement award, and many more.
Winners in each award category are announced at our awards dinners, so watch for the opportunity to nominate a business near you!
IMPROVING PRODUCTIVITY THROUGH EDUCATION
We offer groups of training programs 3-5 times per year at convenient times. These provincially certified courses range in topics from Sage Accounting to Microsoft Office, and from Business Leadership to Human Resources based on the needs of our members. They are all designed to increase productivity and growth in local businesses. And what’s more…. they are free!
INCENTING LOCAL SHOPPING
We also offer a Member to Member program (M2M) which provides benefits to all business owners and employees who are Chamber members. These range from discounts on food, screen printing and advertising and they are a great incentive to encourage people to shop locally. If you would like to offer an incentive to other members of our Chamber just let us know and we’ll add you to our M2M group.
SAVING MONEYWe have partnered with a variety of companies to give you access to discounts on products and services that are critical for your business success. These include discount on First Data Canada point-of-sale/ecommerce tools, Ceridian electronic payroll services, 3C Wealth group health/dental insurance, UPS and Purolator shipping, and many more. GETTING INVOLVED
The strength of any Chamber comes from the engagement of its membership. To ensure we provide benefits that are relevant and valuable to you, we have a variety of committees that are open to all members: Celtic Oktoberfest, Fall Golf Classic, General Events, Finance, Membership Engagement, Tourism, Human Resources, and Policy Development. We would love you to get involved by attending / volunteering / sponsoring events, by participating on committees that interest you, by supporting our social media efforts, or just by dropping in or picking up the phone to chat. Our door is always open!
