The Strait Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to celebrate our 11th year of Celtic Oktoberfest – Cape Breton’s first ever all inclusive craft beer, local food and music gathering! The Chamber created Celtic Oktoberfest to showcase the best of Nova Scotian craft beer and Cape Breton food. Over time we have expanded to include local wine and cider.
For the price of a ticket, attendees will receive all inclusive access to tasty treats from a variety of food vendors and 12 tickets to sample the highest quality products from a variety of breweries, cider house and winery!
We’ve lined up Merimac to take the stage and make this a night to remember! We are also very excited to have the super talented Brett Pierce to start the evening off!
MUSICAL ENTERTAINMENT
Main Act: Merimac
Merimac is a 4 piece group (often 5 with fiddle/piano) based in Halifax, NS, playing Current Pop, Classic Rock, EDM/Dance, Maritime/Celtic, Country, Reggae, R&B and more! Its well-known, seasoned members bring a variety of influences and are sure to please any crowd from the Maritimes and Atlantic Canada!
Merimac has been full-time since 2001 with good reason. With plenty of experience playing private functions, corporate events, clubs & public concerts, they definitely know how to get the party going and people up dancing. Creating a worry-free, fun-filled, memorable event is one of Merimac’s strong points! We have fun at our shows and the audience feeds off that good energy.
Merimac has played over 400 events throughout the Maritimes, Ontario and the U.S., not to mention hundreds of live club dates at Halifax Alehouse, The Split Crow, Cheers, Dolan’s Pub, and Olde Dublin just to name a few.
