About Tim Houston

Leader of the Nova Scotia Progressive Conservative Party, Tim Houston, and his wife Carol have been married for 23 years and they have two teenagers, Paget and Zachary. As a Chartered Professional Accountant, Chartered Accountant with 20 years business leadership, Tim has strong views on how we can grow the economy of Nova Scotia, and he cares about the community. He believes in Pictou East, choosing to raise his family here, and his commitment to Nova Scotia is demonstrated every day through his public service. He listens carefully to the citizens of this province and takes the concerns of business and the community to the floor of the Legislature. Tim is well known for being an approachable representative; he enjoys chatting at the various community festivals, parades, sales and dinners and it is those casual, sincere interactions that give him focus and purpose.
